Marina Bay is a bay located in Central Area in Singapore,a 360 hectare extension to adjacent Central Business District,surrounded by the perimeter of four other planning area,the Downtown Core,Marina East,Marina South and Straits View.A government project to complete the 3.5 km Water Promenade around Marina Bay includes a new eco-friendly visitor center and The Helix linking the Bay front to Marina Center where the Youth Olympic Park is located.The Promontory @ Marina Bay will be used as an interim event space and public space used for activities such as theatres and carnivals.The area also hosts the annual I Light Marina Bay,the first and only sustainable light art festival in Asia.Marina Bay has several features and attractions,it also includes the 101-hectare Gardens by the Bay across the mouth of Singapore river.

Fort Siloso is situated in resort island of Sentosa,is a sole restored coastal gun battery from the twelve such batteries which made up "Fortress Singapore",it is restored as a military museum.The fort was build at Blakang National (Sentosa) in 1874,by the 1880s,gun batteries were located in Mount Siloso and Mount Serapong in Sentosa.By the 1880s and before the start of World War II Mount Sentosa's armaments are the 7-inch RML guns, two 64-pounders,five 10-inch gun (operated electrically from the underground power-house),twin 6-pounder,quick-firing anti-torpedo boat guns,five searchlight and a operational tower,two machine guns and two twin Lewis anti-aircraft machine guns and it was manned by the British Royal Artillery and the Singapore Artillery Corp.The forts were build to defend the land against sea invasion in the south.During the Japanese Occupation of Singapore the fort was used as prisoners-of-war camps.Fort Siloso was converted into a military museum in 1974,displaying his history and guns.

Jurong Bird Park is an aviary and tourist attraction in Jurong,it covers an area of 0.2 kilometers (49 acres) on the western slope of Jurong Hill,the highest point on Jurong region.The park opened to the public on January 1971 and it is now a world-famous zoo were there are specimens of magnificent birds life around the world.It is currently the largest bird park in the world in terms of the number birds,and second largest both in the number of bird species and land area.There are 5,000 birds in 400 species of which 29 are of threatened species.There seven Exhibits in the zoo;The African Waterfall Aviary is the second largest walk-in aviary in the world,covering two hectares and including more than 600 free-flying birds of more than 50 species.The aviary is named after the 30-metres tall Jurong Falls,one of the world's tallest man-man waterfalls.Dinosaurs Decendants in the corner of the zoo is a section of full flightless birds exhibits here.The Southeast Asia Birds Aviary,visitors can see the largest collections of birds in Southeast Asia,which has over 200 species.There are large central,walk-in aviaries and peripheral aviaries the more delicate and territorial birds.A thunderstorm is simulated at noon each day,followed by a cool light drizzle.Lory Loft about nine stories high and covering 3,000 square metres is the world's largest walk-in flight aviary for lories ang lorikeets,with over 1,000 free-flying lories.Visitors can offer the lories a special nectar mix.Penguin Coast houses five penguin species within 1,600 sq mi,featuring a 69 ft tall Portuguese galleon facade and designed to resembled a ship.World of Darkness Asia's first nocturnal bird house features a system of reverse lightning,converting day to night and vice versa.There are 60 birds in 17 species,it is akin to a quiet nocturnal walk along a starlit jungle path.Pelican Cove visitors can catch a glimpse of all seven species of pelicans,including the endangered Dalmatian Pelican.There is a board-walk were visitors can stroll and observed the birds and also see the pelicans at the world's first underwater viewing gallery for pelicans.

Singapore Botanical Garden is a 156 years old tropical garden located at the fringe of Singapore's main shopping belt.It is one of the three gardens ,and the only tropical garden to be honored  as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The tropical garden was founded at its present site in 1859 by an agri-horticultural society.The National Orchid Garden,w within the main garden,is at the forefront of orchid studies and a pioneer in the cultivations of hybrids,complementimg the nation's status as a major exporters of cut orchids.It houses the largest collections of 1,200 species and 2,000 hybrids.More than 10,000 species of flora is spread over its 82- hectares area,which is stretched vertically.The Botanic Gardens received about 4.4 million visitors annually.The Garden has three lakes;Symphony Lake,Eco Lake and Swan Lake.The Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage on Symphony Lake occasionally has free concerts on weekends.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a nature reserve in the northwest area of Singapore.It is the first wetlands reserve to be gazetted in Singapore (2002),and it's global importance as a stop-over point of migratory birds.The reserve,with an area of 130 hectares,was listed as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2013.Previously unheard of as a nature area,the site gained prominence only in 1986 when a call was made to conserve the area.Particularly significant was its unusually high variety of bird species,which includes migratory birds from as far as Siberia on their way to Australia to escape the winter months.Observation hides are available where visitors can observe the flora and fauna in the surrounding in tranquility and at a distance from the animals and birds.To balance visitors and human impact on the rich biodiversity of the reserve,the Sungei Buloh Wetland was zoned into activity areas (high,medium and low activity zones),with programmes to cater to different groups of visitors.

Southern Ridges is a 9 kilometres trail that connects parks along the southern ridge of Singapore.This projects linked up the parks between the Kent Ridge Park and the HarbourFront.Some of the attractions along the trail include its greenery and the connecting bridge.The idea to link this parks was coined in 2002 and it took two years to complete.The three parks that are connected to each other's are;Mount Faber,Telok Blangah Hill Park and the Kent Ridge Park.And there are eight trails in the southern ridge;Marang Trail,Faber Trail,Henderson Waves,Hilltop Walk,Forest Walk,Alexandra Arch,Flora Walk and HortPark and the Canopy Walk.
